What the fuck!? I just noticed the completed status. Oh ffs, another one got axed... And this was fun. Man, I'm slightly starting to dislike reading mangas, either stuff get dragged with no end in sight, get dropped by TLs or gets axed/ends up as LN ad. Some interesting stuff gets dirt and a bunch of generic ass romcoms who beat the shit out of 2 decades old tropes are still alive

Well if people don’t want Mangas to get axed then more people will have to actually buy the manga, not just read it for free online (unless the author/distributor uses a system that allows for free reading). After all, whether how long a Manga continues its serialization is heavily dependent on its popularity.

Another benefit of buying the manga is that you don’t have to worry about it being dropped by TLs.

This getting axed isn’t that surprising to be honest. The story is decent, but the drawings and action scenes feel a bit stiff and empty. The premise is also using a 2-decade old trope; seemingly weak MC gets abandoned by their adventure group, who then finds a way to suddenly become the strongest.

I’d say the biggest flaw this series had was the lack of amount of background drawings. Many panels have blank background or just effects background. That was one thing that made me consider drop reading because to me it makes everything look empty, void, soulless.

Most likely there weren’t any assistants working on the drawings, thus the amount of time to spend on backgrounds is very limited. That being said, I think if Koruri can work with assistants who can assist with backgrounds then I think the manga they’d work on would become more popular.
