i dont think sangoku can work in modern era. what more, book imply that nuclear war wipe out china and all other asian country but leave japan intact, bruh

Meiji period, and more specifically the bakumatsu preceeding it, are some of my favorite historical periods. This is essentially a bakumatsu period story, minus the fact it takes place in the future.
