Little by little, Chitoge softens, just like she did in the anime. It’ll be a long process, but they’re seeing similarities in each other, and even beyond that, charming qualities that they’re still refusing to admit are there for the time being.
And Kosaki being in on things, as she is meant to be as a ‘promise girl’ candidate… even if I’m fairly sure she’s not getting the end game, as it’s still far more interesting to see the tsundere‘s character growth from visceral hate to actual love, than to watch a straight deredere with a severe shyness issue simply overcome her shyness.
