This legitimately made me bawl. I read the chapter around when it first came out, but never finished the manga. So I'm rereading it now. Back then it didn't affect me like this. I think it did this time because my grandpa is 80 and slowly getting worse with dementia or something.

@Tezcatlipoca Thanks, I appreciate it!

I completely didn't see the notification for this until now, haha. I use the web version of mangadex on my phone so the notifications section is kinda hidden away.

@biggsk i was in your exact same position. It must be hard for you. But i hope you're taking care of yourself. And spending as much time you can with him,that was my only regret. I'm sorry if this is weird

@Mv0 aww im sorry. :(

Thankfully it's been a slow degeneration for him. They just moved to a smaller house that should be easier for him to take care of. Just hoping he doesn't show up back at the old house one day thinking he still lives there.

No it's not weird at all! It's the right advice and I appreciate it.

This was a great little arc. I agree with @mtagami tho, Ichijou didn't have to be here at all, shoulda been a pure Ruri-Shuu "episode" or at least more focused on the two. Not complaining too much tho, ended well.

eh it would've been a little weird if it was just ruri and shu. wouldve felt like it was forcing it. don't think they're close enough yet. but yeah this chapter would've been the one to strengthen their relationship. although i dont mind the way it went. nothing was forced and like someone said, a flag was planted. i like a good slow burn

Really appreciating Shu of late. Just based on the anime, I only really cared about him after the episode ‘Support’, which contained the whole arc about his crush on Kyoto-sensei as she was retiring. I really did dislike him up until then for all his smarmy trickster BS, but when he has legit serious moments, or does something actually good… it makes an impression.
