Oh wow.....how shocking the competent love rival is actually a girl.
So far I'm really not impressed by this so called great, the tsundere is a loud blonde strong woman that's falling for the MC's "niceness"
The MC's kinda flip floppy and now theres another decade old promise.
So what next a harem? the rival boy/girl is gonna get on the train? who knows. well it's ended so some people know.
I'll keep pushing on but yeesh.
You're oddly on the mark with the harem (Edit: actually, it's in the tags, so it's not like you had to guess. Though I forgot for a bit there, too)- I know because I watched the anime. Just about every girl that gets to know him seems to harbor some amount of feelings for him, even if they vehemently refuse to act on them out of duty or some misguided perception or misunderstanding.
But you probably already learned that by now, so many years later.
Either way, it really doesn't matter all that much, since it's just adding complications on top of the existing actual love triangle at the core of the story. Really, only Kosaki and Chitoge have any of his serious attention. The rest are mild distractions at best, or aggravating parasites at worst (
I hate Marika so god damn much).
Seriously, you need to do something about your names, Japan. Like either add "he is a boy / she is a girl" to the introduction or just use plainly boy / girl names like James / Mary instead of Ashley / Dorian.
How so? For them, the names often have very distinct gendering, far as I've understood. But it's also intentional with this character, because the one who named her didn't realize she was a she (this should be revealed later?). Her name is distinctly masculine in Japan, but she very much identifies as a girl, and just hadn't had the heart to tell the one that named her (again, should be explained later).
