It's always been Chitoge, honestly. It's kind of obvious, considering everything he's done for and with her. Most of the things he's done with her were off-panel, too, to be fair, since there's the implied regular scheduled dates.

Compare to his progress with Kosaki Onodera... as in what progress? At best, it's been a glacial pace. If it wasn't for Chitoge being there, they might have, eventually, gotten around to confessing to each other, maybe end of high school, or maybe they'd have to luck out to get into the same university, some how, but Kosaki barely got into Bonyari, as it is, so how likely would she have managed his university choice's entrance exam?

Regardless, the moment Chitoge showed up, it was all over for the timid sweet-shop girl. It just wasn't quite apparent until, oh... Test of Courage, anyone? Earliest point you could make that call. The moment Raku bolted off when he was standing right next to Kosaki to find and rescue Chitoge, I felt like that was the most distinctive point to say, for me, that he was beginning to fall for her, and that he would, quite literally, leave Kosaki in the dust the same way, in terms of love.

The first moment he admitted she was cute, being locked in his family's storehouse with her, was the first inklings of him having caught feelings for her, though. It's just, since then, the moments of significance were escalating at a remarkable pace, especially in the early phases of the story. It really did feel like Chitoge climbed up in his heart stealthily but swiftly all the way through to the Mother arc, so that he could put that herculean amount of effort towards giving her that precious time with her mother. Was like the first moment of that scale in the story, if I recall, and it was all for Chitoge. Not that the play wasn't significant, too, but there's something to be said about hard corporate work multiple days in a row, followed by a mad dash to pick up a cute girl, then spirit her off to having quality time with her mother, then putting in even more work to help clean up the mess of the mother's work schedule delay to accomodate that quality time.

And the reward? Lap pillow. Was such an epic arc, to me.
