Don't let her statements afterwards fool you- she totally likes the present. She's started to take the 'gorilla' thing as a term of endearment, little by little (and vice versa with Raku and 'beansprout', if only when Chitoge says it). It's gone from a cover story at the start of all this to becoming real. She's really a lot cuter than she seemed at the start of the story. And we now have her confirmed as a 'promise girl' alongside Kosaki.

When false love becomes real, "you're gonna see some real shit", to quote Doc Brown.

Ruri is still correct, from earlier... Chitoge is making major strides with Raku without anyone really realizing it except her and maybe Shu. Even Chitoge and Raku aren't really aware of their own progress, since they're just used to 'faking it' all this time, so don't really think much of it (though Chitoge is certainly using the excuse of the fake relationship to get closer to him, especially with the distinct possibility that he was the boy she used to play with 10 years ago and saved her all those times).

Kosaki is lagging majorly behind, despite these plot developments that make her a potential 'promise girl'. People thinking she still has a shot... well, she arguably does, but it's shrinking as more time goes on, and I don't think she'll act quick enough to hold onto what little chance she has. The herculean amount of things he does for Chitoge just feels like it overshadows his time with Kosaki. Especially what's coming up when the winter holidays come around. How do you compete with what is going to happen then? I really don't know. Having seen the anime, I really struggle to see her chances, despite his supposed 'crush' on her. The more time goes on with the story, that's all it feels like, a 'childish crush' that he just can't let go despite how much he clearly puts on the line for Chitoge's happiness.
