I can’t really see it. A woman that tries to change who she is in these sorts of ways and obsesses over childish ramblings from youth as if they were gospel is an unhinged, dangerous person, in my eyes. It’s one thing to hold onto an old promise, its a whole other thing to do what she has done and present a false self. She hasn’t even really changed herself for the better, she just put on a mask and hoped it would be his ideal, ignoring the fact that a person’s preferences can change over the years, let alone the boy probably just pulled random thoughts together to give her the answers she sought back then. She is terrifyingly delusional.
