Now, this small arc is just 3 chapters but the way they represented this made me like Maiko more likeable character than how annoying I felt he was before. He's just the perfect friend anyone would want, always being observant of the surrounding. This quiet explains why he got many perverted/important photos. If the story was just this with some more development as a one shot manga it would have got 10/10 from me.

Tl;dr: This arc is way better than the whole manga itself.

Naah bro each chapter has a meaning to it and that is the beauty of the manga as a whole. The author knew what they were doing when they wrote each chapter and when you dig deep into each one, you will end up understanding

Couldn't agree more. Though, a lot of chapters near the middle were admittedly filler-esque, they still did quite a bit to show each characters' traits. Either way, this manga's beautiful when it wants to be.
