Reminds me of that manga where the MC is an assassin with no presence. At least that one it's explained that the brainwashing is through a curse. This one just seems to be arbitrary, at least for now

I read for stuff like these. I want to see the target being overconfident before their life were snuffed out mercilessly.

Something we usually forget in those isekai is how they are basically children, teens! Who got sent to an unfamiliar place so it's not so hard for a charismatic, beautiful and cunning person to take advantage of such a vulnerable group! Even trough our history children are the easiest to manipulate into zealots! Mamluks, Hitlerjungens,Mao's cultural revolution, African child soldiers, etc...

It must be a passive skill of the Hero Class. This guy is in the Hero class with the title Hero. He most likely has a nerfed ability of Bell from Danmachi where he is immune to Charm and Mind Control magic. Charm Magic probably only works on a person's sexual orientation, hence why the girls are immune to it. Albert did not use Charm Magic, as it would be hella SUS if teenage girls started lusting after an old man. Or this guy is not straight and therefore immune to Aries' magic?
