The only thing about these revenge stories... whenever authors drag it out like this, that means they often intend to let the main culprit get away in some way, shape or form. Cuz they do an ass-pull as the main character gloats over them.

I have grown so accustomed to cliff hangers and unnecessary upsets that I would not be at all surprised if that bench gets away somehow. I am not anticipating a joyful resolution here. It would be amazing and I would be infinitely overjoyed if it did happen... but it wont. Mangas do not run on quick customer satisfaction. :pout:

Maaan... Are they really cutting chapters into parts and slowing the release to a crawl on the very criscendo of the arc? Now that's some bullshit right there, c'mon author :(

If I recall the next targets are his former classmates.
No, in an earlier chapter he said he specifically wanted them unharmed. Maybe he's just going to abandon them, as they've would have lost all support from the residents of this world. Plus they could be blamed for not protecting the King and Princess and could be executed by the locals.

I'm happy to see a series not pussy foot around the revenge plot and drag it out for 200 chapters, MC is still a little too edgy for me though, at least the author didn't pull an Arifureta with his character design.

I can count on my finger the amount of "revenge" isekais where the MC genuinely gets revenge and doesn't just give up on it midway because he met a cute girl with badonks. And frankly, I'd like to see more of this. If anyone has recommendations, I'm super open to them.
