I don't know about the rest of you but I loved this chapter, I exclusively read manga for the parts where forgettable side characters die for no reason in ways that don't advance the story.

Man, the direction for this is getting really annoying. It’s like One Punch Man, but forgettable side characters. We all know there’s nothing stopping Nito from slaughtering the monsters, but the build up is way too slow considering the release schedule of this manga.

And it's Two Chapters of pointless babble and tropes with characters nobody ever cared about and new characters who died 4 pages after introduction.

Just marking time and filling a page count for the MC to show up and one-shot the monsters, chat with the murderers, and almost certainly let them escape, even when his Rod of God could just merk the entire field.

No, i was not.
Iirc i was referring the fact that the author was mixing scenes from the actual time in Nito's POV with the scenes of what happened in the battlefield while Nito was away, and mixing scenes from two time frames, made Nito's arrival seem delayed even thought he mostly likely arrived instantly when he found about the battle.
"back and forth of events" was about this.
