It boggles my mind why Rance 8 went back to evenicle style dungeon crawling. Rance 7 is so fun I legitimately think it's better than most AAA games, even without the H content. I would kill for a good, modern clone of that with a new story and setting.

Well, they were pretty (crazyly) creative to literally do a different gameplay for each game, Kichikuou Rance was meant to conclude the series as a strategy game after only dungeon crawlers but the next games went back to that anyway. By the way, it was Evenicle that used Rance (Magnum) Quest as a base, it was released four years earlier. But like a friend of mine uses to say, "Rance is a good game with hentai, not a good hentai with gameplay, which is very different".

The fact that the conversation turned to how a porn game revolutionized dungeon crawlers thirty fucking six years ago boggles my mind. I would expect no less from Mangadex.
Also there's "A Parallel World With a 1:39 Male to Female Ratio Is Unexpectedly Normal". It has a "normal" and a +18 version. Chapters are like 4 pages long, but it's a fast read. I like it cause SOMETIMES we get insight in how a world like that would actually work, and unsurprisingly, it's not the least bit funny.
