Just checked the raws and what you thought was スマ is actually 久々 which is something along the lines of "for the first time in a while". Overall translations of the line could be something like "It's been a while since I've come here on my own like this." I also noticed a line in the bottom right panel that didn't make it into the translation, 「たみには店の開拓でもす。。。」which I think is something like "I should see if anything good has opened up recent..." (as in trailing off on recently).

Poor Rihito... Even when he gets respite from Noa, the world conspires to rob him of his solitude. I do like how he sorta kinda highlighted Noa's more endearing traits.
