I also think you should probably attempt to translate the SFX, because I have no idea what 'bari caree' means

Bari Caree means Career Woman. It was introduced in an older chapter.
The pause indicates that she starts speaking in her regular Noa tone followed by her more composed "career woman" tone.

Reread her dialogue. It should make a difference now.
