Needs some serious proofreading.Needs some proofreading…
Fellow history student here, i feel the same bro, and this whole thing opens the door to any moron wanting to re-write history under the excuse that it could be a "possibility" without any proof or decent argument. i mean i get it the author wants to set the premise of his story but this is just dumb, i saw another author do the same with Uesugi Kenshin but the author did gave many explanations as why there was a high probability that kenshin could be female, but this guy just throw that BS escuse of "could be a possibility" at the same time that he puts a lightly dressed woman and literally makes a panel only to show her boobs, distracting the readers with boobs and jump right into a fight, i admit is a effective way to hide your poor excuse of a premise and make the readers accept the fictional pact without they realize your premise makes no sense.Interesting premise but, by god, this needs some proofreading.
Also, as a historian it's very weird to see a manga talking about what History is supposed to be. Also, to see a mistaken historian suffer a level of harassment as extreme as the manga implies happened. Weird, all around.
Oh yeah, that's a doozy right there. Like, you can't study history just based on vibes, and you can't teach tehories because they're more "romantic." Yes, you can't know The Truth about History, but you can use the evidence to establish something as close to it as possible. If you drop that and just go with whatever suits your fancy the most, regardless of evidence and academic consensus (which can be wrong, of course, but that too is part of the research process), you're not doing history, you're doing fiction or, in the worst cases, outright propaganda.this whole thing opens the door to any moron wanting to re-write history under the excuse that it could be a "possibility" without any proof or decent argument.
