You know, my family, I am not convinced that you need to update with a single page of content sandwiched between a title page and an ad.
Like, I'm only four pages in and I appreciate how quickly you're establishing the characters - him breaking his spear and her reaction to it says a lot about them very quickly - but 8 of the 12 pages I have read at this point have nothing to do with the story.
IMO, a more effective strategy would be to release a whole chapter and hook me on it, so I want to know what happens next. But with so much interruption, it's really hard for me to stay focused on the story.
