This has a fun enough premise...but it relies too much on a status-quo and doesn’t seem to have any desire to actually change something up.

The project is still listed as active under the group. I can't find any evidence that the manga is Complete and ended.
If it got cancelled, it should say Cancelled right? That's not what it says, this is weird, it looks like a bug.
