Yeah, this experiment claim is very much a lie, even Jecro's dumb thing had more in common with an experiment, and he got permabanned for it.
Not to mention that I am pretty sure that the shitty AI ad was on for more than one day.
The person who decided that should get their power revoked.

He did get banned once for data scraping, IIRC. He got nuked for the fake accusations of threatening a user whose account he was sock-puppeting (with their cooperation) and then using a couple other accounts (with the same name using substitute characters) to try and circumvent the ban.

I run Item Wizard and have some ad time. It's a site that helps people choose a keyboard. I've developed and maintained it as a solo project and have done everything including the logo but excluding the character illustration. The illustration is done by Graphomancy Studio based out of the UK.

While it's uncertain whether these ads will get a rerun or even breakeven, optimistically, I'm willing to run at breakeven and funnel earnings back to mangadex and commissioning art work.

I've been using mangadex since the great migration from batoto. Mangadex has shown great resiliency over the years and despite its imperfections I'd rather see it continue to operate than not.
