Well, this is the last volume, and it's pretty close to the end if you compare the amount of chapters in previous volumes. But if you feel like dropping it right before it ends, you do you.Waste of time.
Honestly, it's just frustrating.
Considering just dropping it, shit doesn't seem worth the frustration it begets me
I think the change in release amounts is due to one of the artist’s health. She’s had to take a hiatus in the past. One thing that really annoys me about this series, is for what's supposed to be a monthly series we used to always get 30 to even 50 pages each month, with that being pretty standard for monthly series. But for the last few years now we're lucky to see even 20 pages a month, to the point where this may as well just become a weekly series.
Coupled with the fact that there's only a couple chapters left (only like 2 at most I think) I'm expecting a sloppy ass ending, where everything just gets glossed over, like what exactly is going on with Hiyori, and what is it that makes her so special. And then there's Yato's dad, that needs to be wrapped up next chapter if they want any hopes of having enough time to finish the story, since they still have to clean up his mess, and ideally give us one last goodbye with all the main characters. I am hoping we're able to see Bisha and Kazuma at least one more time.
That's because we've been getting half a chapter per month. Because the authors are human and can't physically overwork themselves that much. One thing that really annoys me about this series, is for what's supposed to be a monthly series we used to always get 30 to even 50 pages each month, with that being pretty standard for monthly series. The most useless participation everIf Hiyori left her body just to go and keel over somewhere in spirit form I'm going to be a bit upset. Surely she did SOMETHING, right?
author hasnt been in stable condition in awhile, you read manga, use some empathyWaste of time.

dawg, the author was on hiatus and sick? and the sorcerer stuff is the entire story? its not a SoLjudging from the fact we haven't heard from hiyori in like half a year, she's dead =\ I feel like the sorcerer plot should've ended several arcs ago. the issue here is that the author wants it to be cool and epic and hae this overarching plot- but that's neer where noragami excelled in the first place- what makes noragami good is the small stuff- which is notably missing in the last year or so of the series.
If they aren't in a good condition, the company should give them sick leave.author hasnt been in stable condition in awhile, you read manga, use some empathy
Problem is that just isn't how the manga industry works. If they aren't in a good condition, the company should give them sick leave.
Instead of doing bad chapters, they shouldn't do any chapters until they recover.

uh, she took a very long hiatus, she has now adjusted to drop chapters more consistently instead of doing a bunch and getting sick then haitusIf they aren't in a good condition, the company should give them sick leave.

indeedMaybe we should be grateful we’re reading this for free instead of bitching about the boring writing.
And be happy that Japan's work conditions are slightly improving to the point where they can slow down or take hiatuses, instead of making them churn out regular chapters until they died from overworking like in the old days.Maybe we should be grateful we’re reading this for free instead of bitching about the boring writing.
