Because Yato never experienced it with Hiiro/Nora when he named her. He never saw her past and memories, unlike with Sakura.

A part of me wanted Hiiro to be saved too... but I don't think it is possible, I don't know how to qualify her, but... she is just too far gone.

So... yeah, the secret was obvious, and it does have a good reason for being a secret.

It seems fate is playing its part to guide Yato to a better future, let's see if it is really true, but I do think Sakura was Hyori's ancestor (I would say reincarnation, but it seems the secret may have effects that won't allow that), her situation is just too... particular without some outlier.

This flashback really brings into perspective how fragile the kami are, as powerful as they are, they too are instruments of karma... you could even say that their fates are even more tied by it than humans, they are purer than anything... and that is why they need good guidance.

Sakura planted a beautiful seed... I just hope that whatever there is of her soul in the wheel of fate, it has found some peace.
