nice premise, but living in a really good looking "low-rent sharehouse" with "top-of-the-line" security for only 2000 yen is bs, even for a manga setting.

Like that coworker, upon hearing about the MC's past, immediately goes to the MC and starts blabbering about it, as if he was talking about a football match. What on Earth forced him to say anything about such a topic? Does "tact" not appear in the Japanese dictionary? He's not the only one either. The MC's memories are full of people not being able to leave him alone. Apparently in Japan this must be a thing, otherwise the Japanese publishers/readers would find this series too weird and it wouldn't have been published in the first place.
