Well the university kid is at least just kinda awkward but has a basic awareness of right and wrong. Those other, older, coworkers are just bitches though. First the manager and coworker who were HAVING A DOUBLE AFFAIR and acting like the MC was the one with the problem. Like bro he's just a victim, that incident happened when he was a child, and he 100% had nothing to do with it. Ya'll are literally the ones out here openly committing infidelity. Same goes to the idiot coworkers who said within ear shot that they cared more about some guy who was the victim of a horrible crime and became an orphan and endured hardship because of it then two adults actively committing double infidelity. Like you either get to feel sympathy and make awkward pity remarks or don't get to say anything at all (unless the victim in question signals it's okay). This isn't that complex. We're supposed to have learned these basic human decency social skills in freaking day care or pre-school. How do you learn a 20 year old (in Japan that's even worse because that's just the coming of age age) had to deal with his mom killing his dad as a child and immediately just start gossiping WITHIN EAR SHOT??? Were you raised in a barn by psychopaths?
