Binged this and so far I'm really enjoying this manhwa. It's one of the very violent revenge stories that I have read in a while. Catharsis at full engine. It kinda borderlines with torture porn; it almost makes me feel bad for the bullies. ALMOST.
My only gripe is that it's starting to lean into very complicated conspiracies and plot threads. It's the kind of thing that increases chances of major plotholes, and author burnout when they need to explain stuff over many chapters that can impact the pacing.
We're not a this point, but I'm a bit worried based on my reading of other stories who had this problem (like Release that Witch, or Blood Princess).
Now there's one theory that's popped in my head after reading chapter 76. The Shaft Group big honcho is convinced that Cha Kanghyun is the one behind this revenge against Ahyun, and not Lee Myung-Jun (as Kang Taehan is suspecting). And we, the readers, know so far that it's Lee Myung-Jun's revenge. So this chapter rassures us in a way that Lee's plan is still safe for being found out by the Shaft Group.
But... that chapter put so much emphasis on this being Cha Kanghyun's doing - even though, to our knowledge, it's not - that I wonder if it's some foreshadowing of a future twist that's this is indeed the case. That the bullying and murder of Hyena was planned, alongside the governmental audit et al. to blindside Lee Myung-Jun, to push her father to go over the despair event horizon and go scorched earth; eliminating everyone that Cha Kanghyun deems no longer needed without dirtying his hand and nothing linking the massacre to him. Heck, I would add maybe the daughter, the top bully, has a hand in that plan, if not her plan all along. And even that Lee's wife was also murdered to put salt in the wound.
If my theory is right that this whole revenge story was a conspiracy and Lee Myung-Jun was manipulated in doing so, I WON'T LIKE IT. Unless of course Lee Myung-Jun was aware of it and his plan revolved around it. Even with that, it would make the story so needlessly convoluted. So I hope I'm completely off my rockers with this theory.
