It seems that even with volume 1 being released a year ago, a full version of chapter 2 is non existent and we'll have to wait on all 4 parts separately.

The reincarnation plot was added to explain his knowledge. Trouble with socializing is just a "bonus" at best. Though I agree that he also has a reason for his behavior in this world without reincarnation.
That being said, I don't think it was necessary anyway. Everyone in this world is such a close-minded moron that Wade could have been introduced as a guy from this world, but with average intelligence and curiosity. That would be enough for him to actually slowly discover the "secrets" of skills.

Yeah, it wasn't necessary at all.
If anything, they could've just done something a bit on the nose. Like an apple falls on his head, it hurts him. He thinks back to when he sank in the hole. He throws the apple in frustration while his magic is going and it doesn't fly far but it comes crashing hard into the ground, he ponders it out and considers what is it making him small, tests his magic a bit, comes to a realization and bam.
Same story moving forward, minus the reincarnation isekai part.
it's more an issue of how much he knows about the world right now and who he's surrounded with. The manga doesn't clarify it well but the magic adventurers use is, itself, granted by a broader category of magic. Basically, magic in this story has a lot more variation and stuff going on than what adventurers use and noble, researchers, etc use different kinds of magic than adventurers. THEY know what gravity is but the books and research explaining it are kept in the noble libraries and, as they made clear at the beginning, becoming an adventurer is something poor people do.

So the story just goes full logical all of a sudden and makes it so that ice magic users can only function properly with water magic users cuz they lower the temperature? Why then not add an incendiary farts magic user clowning on a fire magic user since technically they would need a flammable material to ignite?

This cliche of fighting back against a bully making the mc scary is so overused. The guy lost and tried to sneak attack him with magic that is considered deadly so why would the mc not teach him the lesson for doing something like that, but of course everyone thinks he's at fault when they all knew that other guys personality smh.
