In what way is she a victim? Yes, she was brought there against her will, but she killed “Edith” 13 times in order to get her own happy ending knowing that Edith was being abused. So the 12 Ediths are going to confront Reese; the woman who didn’t bring them there and was forced there against her will, who originally tried to change fate but failed, and who had to suffer through a torture none of the rest of them had to suffer through until it broke her brain…
Meanwhile her family have all abandoned her and locked her up because of the words of one maid despite never doing to same to Edith even with equal or greater evidence…
These changes make no sense and Reese is now the biggest victim in the story.
You’re asking in what way the person who was brought there against her will, abused (yes; we know she was abused until she went to live with the Duke), forced to watch people die when she tried to change fate and was forced to die and relive it all over and over is a victim? In what way is she a victim? Mmm. It's set up as this ultimate karmic resolution, the author stripped of her power and finally facing the music, but the situation has gone on for so long and is so complicated that it doesn't really work with a simple revenge. I can see it from Edith's perspective - imagine meeting god, and she's an unimaginative loser who hand-tailored your life for maximum misery on a whim? Of course you'd feel a little wrathful. But even though the author wrote the story, it's not like she wished for it to come true, and as we've seen, she doesn't have much more power than they do. She didn't set up this bizarre world and its bizarre rules, and she's been broken by it as much as anyone. Edith's hatred is understandable, but it's badly misplaced. So the 12 Ediths are going to confront Reese; the woman who didn’t bring them there and was forced there against her will, who originally tried to change fate but failed, and who had to suffer through a torture none of the rest of them had to suffer through until it broke her brain…

How did she tried to change their fate in a good way? She could have helped the original Edith but as soon as she figured out what was happening, she decided to take both the male leads for herself and always planned to bring harm to all the Ediths who came there. She is an egomaniac who thinks her story is flawless. She may have been abused back on earth but that does not give her any right to abuse others or to think of her story as perfect. Also she was actively trying to harm the current Edith and now she is getting what she deserves. You’re asking in what way the person who was brought there against her will, abused (yes; we know she was abused until she went to live with the Duke), forced to watch people die when she tried to change fate and was forced to die and relive it all over and over is a victim?
You’re joking right?
And, again, she tried to change fate and it made things worse and broke her brain.
But it’s funny how you’ve got no issue with Edith kidnapping and killing 13 other Edith’s and framing Reese so she can get her own happy ending; but when Reese does a fraction of that you claim she can’t possibly be a victim.
