Except he didn't say that?

He said "Four-eyes has too active imagination."
When the series has been about how easily misunderstood Kaneshiro is.

Again, before she learn of his real personality even Onodera herself was like that.

So in your example situation, he'd be someone going "why are they kissing?" if anything.
This. The entire point is that they're easily misunderstood. That's why glasses dude was weary about him when they met. Because his looks invite those misunderstandings.

Thinking other people are the problem is pure stupidity. Because people judge based on first impressions before they even attempt to get to know a person on a deeper level.
You must have gone to quite a wild school! Japan still requires students to wear uniforms and maybe still the majority of them don't allow visible piercings or anything other fancy. We all know of the stories of a Japanese school demanding that a genetically blond(ish) student with a foreign background needs to dye her hair. I don't think a class rep type literature girl would be up for such an act. Pay attention to the "Ah, he's actually obedient" happening before the "let's do it right here" line.
What does the setting have anything to do with the characters in question. Your response doesn't rebut the fact the heroine is weak to pressure. When she first met him she was afraid of him because of his looks like everyone in this story is. She literally thought she was going to get bullied or worse when he called out to her. Even if there is a stigma she would not have done anything to stop him If the story went into a sexual nature because she's weak to pressure.

Why else do you think there's rumours about the two that assume they're in that type of relationship. Him being obedient to her request in a specific instance doesn't change the misunderstanding at all.

The setting is a strict (by Western standards) Japanese school and she had been elected/nominated as the class rep, who works as an extension of the teacher. Apart from the legendary disciplinary committee, she's the least likely person to do something outrageous at school. That's what the setting has to do with anything.

If she's weak to pressure and intidimated by the "delinquent", why would she deny the dude's suggestion and the dude seemingly accepting the rejection, even if he later suggested something else? Their conversation also was perfectly normal, aside from what the glasses dude perceived as being incredibly perverted. Like I said before, it was only after the glasses dude thought those two would start fornicating right in front of his eyes that I called his imagination too active. Even if both the girl and the boy were real delinquents, I doubt they would do it right then and there.

lmao i think the 'crazy' eyes is more of an issue than his delinquent looking hair (which i assume is dyed/bleached white/blonde or so)

Be interesting to see a genderbend bonus sketch or so (tho i suppose gyaru x normal/plain male mc is common too)
Rather than them being misleading, aren't you the one jumping to conclusions too fast?
LOL i guess their language was vague but they are teens so even if they were actually in a group of friends, i'm sure they'd get teased or come to an innuendo conclusion even when a teacher says "Let's do it" talking about a specific thing and teens going "'do it' hurr hurr"

or some teens just doing it on purpose to troll like those teenage boys that'd always imitate girls moaning while goofing around if the teacher's out or on break or whatever

Yes I understand the setting and because of that setting rumours are much more degrading. Which is why the glasses dude assumed what he assumed. Especially if she's a class rep that makes her hanging around him lead to misunderstandings that she's getting taken advantage of. I don't understand how you'd think her a bookworm girl and a delinquent hanging together doesn't cause misunderstandings when this a trope in manga.

You're asking why a girl who knows the type of a guy asking to do something wholesome to her when no one else outside of these two knows their relationship and you're shocked someone took it preverted when they're vague.

Also you clearly never been around actual delinquents or just horny teenagers if you think they wouldn't do something that degen in front of someone. Or even just imply it.

This is honestly the best way to do the misunderstanding trope. Solve it in the chapter it started in or in the next chapter. (Love the reaction of glasses guy)

Why are some assuming that the people here are getting mad at other people? Unless There has been an extensive edit- and/or banwar sweeping over these forums, I've seen only pretty basic discussion and mild disagreement so far. Surprisingly civil, I'd say.

Weird.
