It feels really pointless to me to make her a "half ogre" that just looks human anyway. She doesn't even have a human parent, it's described as a purely random mutation. The only identifying feature of her race is a tiny 5mm long horn on her forehead that I didn't even notice until she said she had one.
It's like asking for a cheeseburger then removing all the middle stuff so you only have the bread left. Having an interesting interaction regarding her race is now pretty much dead in the water.
They shoulda just wrote her as a human the ogres took in or something.
