Thanks for the translation!! I’m curious to know what Rama is going to do. Since she asked the prince if she could trust him, this suggests it’s going to be something that will leave her temporarily incapacitated.

...Welp. Clearly a re-read is in order, because I have no idea what Rama's planning to pull from her hat. No, I'm not reading spoilers. But yeah, I hate it when MCs get handed this particular idiot ball. Always double-tap!

Happen to saw the RAW of the next chapter earlier
Rama used a special recovery magic that only Hero/Saintess would have.
Very good at self-healing.
But when used on another person, it pretty much cause the user to collapse on the spot.

Where things might go next:
The guy who died actually was relevant for plot.
He's 2nd son of marquess? (whichever is in line of succession below royal/duke)
So with his death, even if Al wish to accompany the priestess on her trip home to help her over grief/trauma, some of the more malicious actors might try to question his return (no holy sword + another in line of succession die in the same incident? SUS)

Rama's answer to that is to try summoning the holy sword. (Yeah, she could've just call on the thing this whole time apparently)
It appears with bone of an arm holding onto it i.e. the hero's arm which implies for the past 16 years nobody ever found the sword.
ch. 4.2 has rama consider the fact she fould just summon the sword if no one found it, but didnt wanna be revealed to be the hero (because not human, but also the hero kills monsters). that's why she just followsalong throughout the story

I'm glad they're gonna save her, because if they pulled the "I'm your love rival! In that case, time to die from the enemy that's still alive apparently, bye!" card, that would have been extremely funny but way too heavy-handed.

Remember: Always double-tap. The bad guy isn't dead until you're absolutely sure they're dead.
Depending on the world and lore, no matter the opponent, if they are magical, don't stop burning or stabbing until they turn to dust or resemble chunky salsa.

magically having just enough energy, mobility, dexterity, and control to stealthily stab the priestess in the back, without anyone noticing him. I call bullshit on the believability of that actually happening. How did no one hear him dragging his wet torso on the ground?

Yup, smells like BS. If I had to create a scene like that, I would not let the villain pull such a crappy stunt. If the world has magic, then by all means use it. Let that vampire on death's door realize he won't be able to recover. Then he would convert the last bit of his essence into raw magical power and use telekinesis to ram that broken sword through the priestess.

That's not ideal either but it would be more plausible than what the author went with. Okay, one might claim that the magic flow would probably not go unnoticed... maybe so, but the action itself would be fast enough to work. At least it is more "believable" than a creeping upper body swinging a broken plade around with his teeth while still being able to excert enough power to stab a human like that.

Rama was trying to heal her pretty much the whole time. I wouldn't really call it trolling so much as conventional methods failing, and checking real quick before trying something that's likely forbidden or something.
