Not really a couple but there's one called "Monochrome Days". Check that one out if you want a story about a guy and a girl making manga.Geez, what a coward.
Huh... Guys, is there a manga with this premise?
Honestly if you know the authors history, it was only an inevitability.Brooooooo fuck u I dropped this shit and wanted to forgett this garbage nooooooooo
Thats the problem. I didnt known and now I cant understand how shit like that got popular I mean are there really people enjoying it?Honestly if you know the authors history, it was only an inevitability.
Exactly that. This random dragging love triangle plot is just harming the whole manga which had some great moments of emotional and characters growth. Alas now it's turning in just another ecchi gyaru romcom with useless plot points to make it last longer. And again fmc is hindering her own progress, backpedaling and even supporting her rivalToo bad the cf is a loli, i can’t wholeheartedly support her but at least she isn’t as annoying as fmc… and now she transferred in their school, I bet she’ll be in mc class
Since the love triangle thing became obvious the story stopped progressing, and now the cf is legit more close to mc than fmcthis is so frustrating, it was better when it was just the 2 of them supporting each other’s dream of becoming a mangaka imo
Thanks for the translation
Someone suggested it to me!Not really a couple but there's one called "Monochrome Days". Check that one out if you want a story about a guy and a girl making manga.
Yes? Why would anyone be reading it if they don't enjoy it?Thats the problem. I didnt known and now I cant understand how shit like that got popular I mean are there really people enjoying it?
We didnt talk about this manga, we talked about Sasha-chanYes? Why would anyone be reading it if they don't enjoy it?
Is it that surprising that in a genre that closely ties to drama (romance), people tend to enjoy those close ties?
I like the drama. I like that while Uehara builds a relationship with a girl he still believes is completely outside his grasp, a girl he tells himself he's not good enough for, a girl he had told himself for years he wasn't into the type of girl she was, having to reckon with his own preconceived notions and biases, and while struggling to accept truths about himself and his love for her, running into the first girl he ever loved, who fits into every one of his "preferences", making him have to consider that aspect of himself and his preferences too.
I like that Miyamoto is so excited to live in what she sees is every romance manga ever, to the point where she even undermines her own happiness once she understands her own feelings. I like that there will inevitably be a point where she and Koi are going to come at odds over their love for Uehara, and seeing how the three navigate that conflict is something I'm looking forward to reading.
I have even been hoping for an arc or plotline where she ends up dating her "ideal" shojo protagonist guy and he dates his "ideal" shonen protagonist girl and they find out that it's not all they imagined it to be.
If you want a romcom with no love rivals, go read Amano Megumi, Dress-Up Darling, or Polar Opposites. You want a vapid fanfiction where no one's feelings get hurt and the MC is a self-insert gary stu, you have swarms of LN trash adaptations to read. If you don't like this, you have many options, so you don't need to go whining in the comments every time.
oh.We didnt talk about this manga, we talked about Sasha-chan
I also dont like the people complaining. Like if you think the triangle is so bad just read another mangaoh.
Fair enough. I'll redirect my yelling to whoever else complains about love triangles in this, then.
I like the "stalling" as well, if every romcom the characters juat got togheter quickly the interest would go away even quicker. Even if it's frustrating sometimes i'd rather have a nagatoro style romcom, where the 2 mcs are obviously into eachother but they find 300 reason to delay them getting together, than something where they just meet and begin to date. I rather have the fun of they "will they won't they" than the boredom of just having the result in front of me.Yes? Why would anyone be reading it if they don't enjoy it?

XBC3 made me sick to my stomach.
How on Earth they did that and got away with it still baffles me :O
I mean that's not even a problem! Romcoms either go until the confession or hit the confession early and continue that way, no in between. Both have merits, I mean Polar Opposites is really, really good and they start in the first chapter, people seem to like Horimiya, and both The Dangers in my Heart and Nagatoro are GOATed.I like the "stalling" as well, if every romcom the characters juat got togheter quickly the interest would go away even quicker. They say that the best payoffs come from huge buildups.

The big (small) thing you guys don't seem to notice is just how boring of a character the other girl, Ren, is.
Despite her backstory being on the sad side, everything else positive to her is given to her narratively, almost like a bad fan-fiction protagonist!
Never mind the stalling, it's the reason for the stalling that's annoying (and unrealistic, since this was mentioned as well)
Degeneracy sells very well you know? 👀Thats the problem. I didnt known and now I cant understand how shit like that got popular I mean are there really people enjoying it?
