Actually it does, that's what the smut tag is for
"I've seen tamer series tagged with H."
Then report them so we can fix those mistakes.
Yeah, i don't know. Aggressive (self)cuddling takes about 50% of screen time there. Just because you can't see the uglies doesn't mean it isn't porn. I've seen tamer series tagged with H.
But as far as erotica goes... it isn't even particularly sensual. Just gratuitous scoring on part of the guy, passed through specific filters (voyeurism, exhibitionism, and control, submission, humiliation aspects of snm play) - at the end of the day, most of the sex packed in isn't there because plot called for it. Plot that, mind you, could've been told in about thirty - forty chapters, if you wanted to retain "relevant" coitus that serves the story or character development.porn and erotica are not the same, right?
Correct H tagging as defined by MangaDex is enforced by the staff, and I repeat that if you think the "contributors" have made an error you're welcome to report them. As for the titles, using standard Hepburn romanization is generally preferred because we host scanlations in multiple languages. The only real reason it's not universally enforced is because the amount of whining when we change some established titles gets pretty unbearable pretty quickly, and also because the planned preference order update would make the whole problem obsolete anyway.@mikegnesium posted:
Tags and R18 restrictions are set up willy-nilly by "contributors", same as those crude phonetic bastardized wapanese titles displayed first while browsing (which is super helpful when making decision about starting a series btw - "Fukanzen na Hito no Tame ni" sounds waaay clearer than "For imperfect people").
as defined by MangaDex
and or or?tag porn (and only porn) as hentai. Ecchi and smut do not count. The primary focus must be on the sex, and genitals must be visible (typical censorship aside).
