While I enjoyed the anime adaptation, the anime did not do justice to the scene he was undergoing evolution and breaking out of the cocoon (heck, there was no cocoon at all in the anime)

He's bitten Lorraine again, you can two marks on her back near the neck

So when are they gonna tackle the fact that he clearly drank Lorraine's blood when he spouted out of that cocoon? I didn't see any obvious bandages around the neck, but that might be either the author making them hidden to avoid giving away the 'surprise' too easily, or...he bit her somewhere else

Honestly I think the anime did this way better. Fleshed out somethings more. Yes the evolution was not showcased. But for everything else I will say the anime did a better job. Especially on the note we ended with Rentt and Loraine right before the ED. It was beautiful
