technically mc doesn’t need to do a thing right now. Just has to sit and wait for the idiot to show up and start beating him in front of the idiot’s sister. Yeah he’ll get his butt kicked but the Idiot will lose so much more than him as a result. Sister will never look at him the same way again

I can see the strat being make his sister so love and attach to him then one day breaking quoting don't wanting to get into trouble with her brother anymore. That damage can last a very long time and really hard to amend -- and judging by the brother character, he might not even have the idea how he can mend it ever again.
