Dunno… Considering everything Mitsuru did to Azusa (especially if you know what happens in the extra novel chapter from volume 4), the “revenge” on him feels totally underwhelming.

Also, it’s kind of weird that Toshi is being nice to Azusa, considering what he did to Imai. If we take into account what Sawada-sensei said about her being different from Imai, and the fact that she stated that she loves Toshi, maybe Asmodeus is totally mistaken in thinking she’s dealing with an inferior demon.

Sales info:

While promoting the release of volume 7 on X, the author mentioned that the manga had surpassed 250,000 copies sold (physical + digital). That’s impressive given how bad this manga is. However, Shoseki Ranking data shows that physical sales for volume 7, released on September 19, were weak. For the first time, it failed to make the weekly ranking in its debut week, which required sales of around 1,200 copies.

My best guess for this drop is that readers didn’t like the conclusion of the Mitsuru revenge arc and the baggage that came with it (another demon, etc.). Below is a graph showing first-week sales for all volumes.

Note: volume 7 sold fewer than 1,200 copies, but since it didn’t chart, the exact number can’t be known. I’ve used 1,200 as an illustrative placeholder.

I also stated:

This was an implication that Toshi is probably using with Azusa the same method he used with Sawada-sensei, which is different from what he did to Imai. Therefore, Asmodeus must be mistaken about it being an inferior demon.

I think the revenge being underwhelming and Azusa being back to being in danger, plus no real advancements on things in the Harem.

I sort of dig the idea of another demon being in the mix, but it seems like a distraction. I want more closure on the existing plots before we start chasing more squirrels.

I would guess that's a misstranslation and I think he means he'll have to get them to be friendly to the new harem member.

He literally did forget due to brainwashing of the demon. Of which he just didn't really care about or lost his trust in the demon after learning he is getting brainwashed. Plot has lost its grounding long ago.

Akagi-kun is the guy who came with the teacher and took Azusa, so they gonna probably use her somehow now...
