Are all the girls around him all delusional? They only think about themselves conveniently, and now years passed they r behaving like nothing happened. Tbh this guy is looking fine to me, being mistrustful is so natural (he could of been thinking about ending himself). Tbh he somehow handled all of that perfectly, nicely written character at least for now.

I'm coming from a few chapters in advance, but the site I was reading on has it's comments a little broken -

To be kind of fair, with the first girl, Shizuka, he should have verbally announced he was going to get band-aids

But at the same time, everyone already decided he pushed her when it didn't even look like that on panel, lol [And then on the next page all of that's completely made up so maybe it wouldn't have made a difference. . .]

Including his sister just completely making things up, too. Like, wow, what?

The library event seems like a freak accident, lol

Third girl is bad but fourth girl is even worse, setting him up for a date and then just not showing up. At least the third girl, Kisaragi, was actually there, and even apologized on-site

Nanako, in earshot, was talking about not believing the rumors, so that conversation almost seems planned

I kind of get this dude and why he wants to just ignore everyone because like yeah a lot of people do rude shit just cause of the fact that they think what they see on someone like what emotion they are expressing is how they are thinking, like this is how bullying happens, they just say random shit and others believe it with no reason or any sort of proof.
In reality most people when bullied put up a fake smile and say shit like "I'm alright" or "There is no problem here" but those are for people who wish to keep up relations. People who understand that they have a negative image from the eyes of other people either tend to try to fix that image which is usually hard to do so, or they just straight up ignore it which is much easier than trying to give a shit about others who could possibly just talk to you just to shit talk you.
This MC is a nice dude at heart but has no room to act as such because he possibly knows that if he tries to act nice his image would sink more just because humans don't think about others unless they consciously decide they want to think about others.
