Uruchika casually dispelling a curse thought to be indespellible reminded me of Frieren. Specifically that one highly advanced killing magic developed by a certain demon. That became ordinary attack magic just ~80 years later.

Even if they can get the approval of the witch heads, I wonder how the situation with the spirit that Chikage'd need to make a pact with will be resolved.
There could be many ways (besides the hilarious way of finding the ntr enjoyer spirit), I mean it's just been shown that the times have changed, and I think we never got the perspective from the spirits, the closest thing being the example of what happened to eyepatch head and the halloween festival/ritual.

The axe was really sharp in this volume, Chikage power while really appreciated came out of nowhere since we seen her being basically a doormat for the council of boomers, from doing deliveries to serving drinks at the pool in cat girl costume...
Boomers accepting fresh blood, that always works out... haha... ha... at least Chikage can always wash the floor with them now lol
