Thanks for finishing this work, TL.
My quick thoughts:
Love the character interactions, love the art style and character designs, the humor (stag-beetle man) but man, the ending and the resolution of some of the plot points were unsatisfying to see...
One obvious plot point is Hibiki-Noro relationship. They had a one-night stand (allegedly), Hibiki told him not to think too much about it, they didn't do much to mend the awkwardness, and the final scene together is both of them waving each other goodbye. Man, that's it? I feel bad for the TL writing such deep character analysis explaining the relationship only for the author decided not to invest too much into that plot point.
Then you have a couple like Matio and Okamura barely making a camo in this chapter even though they got together late into the story, and the Mom reveal being hastily done with her decided not to reveal her true identity to her daughter in the end. Damn, that's a sad sight...
Thinking about it, I think the story started to lose me for a bit when the author started to expand the witches lore and introduce the three head bitches, sorry,
witches into the story. The whole ordeal with them was kinda messy and I wish the author had more time investing in the conflict with the witch council pressuring Chikage to do the sex ritual with the MC, which she doesn't want to do because she will lose MC in the process.
You can tell the story could've lasted longer, and I wish it did because I do enjoy the manga overall. Ah well, you know what they say: It's about the ride, not the destination.
EDIT: Nice, author going to start another new work soon:
