It feels weird to be advocating for this, but…
Kani should shoot for the throuple.

1. She's fallen for both Naoki and Naho.
2. Naho would probably agree on the grounds that it's a mature kind of development in a relationship… and we saw that grin/ara-ara combo back in chapter 16, page 14.
3. It might be a little tough to get Naoki on board (specifically, getting him to "see Kani as a girl", as Kani put it), but he'll probably follow along once Naho gives her approval.

The only real difficulty I foresee is keeping Naoki from being murdered by his peers if they find out.
