So, just generally speaking. Girls are easier to raise than boys. Girls get sick less and recover faster when sick. Girls also learn a bit faster, I think it's found that boys (again generally) develop 2-3 years behind girls until around 20's.
Two's a good number for raising kids; they'll have someone to grow up with, and some day when they have their own families, and you as mom and dad are gone, they'll have each other and memories to share with. Assuming you did your absolute best in balancing love and discipline without estranging them.
That being said, having three kids isn't much different than two, four than three, etc etc until like 8 or so then it's just whatever at that point.
