Man, I really dig this art style. Looks kinda old school battle manga like.

I guess if he's after that specific clan, he might have been part of it and got embarrassed and kicked out and made some kinda pact to get some crazy power?

Wow.. now that's an old trope you see just about every other battle shounen... Then again i guess trying to forcefully convert the entirity of an indigenous population to a singular foreign religion does tend to leave behind a bit of a grudge.

Why i have the feeling the demon king the hero gang and MC fought get isekaied into MC world and he's the main enemy the MC needs to defeat and this Genna dude is the lackey?

What are you talking about? There was never such an event in Japanese history, at least not with respect to Christians.

Forced might have been a slight exaggeration, but there was an intense cultural backlash to Christian Missionaries indoctrination of Japanese nationals.

"Cultural" backlash? It was government oppression by the Shogunate, pure and simple. You need to read up a little more on it. This was a very different story than the typical "Christian country colonizes a foreign land and forces their religion on it."
