If you actually want to learn about Sengoku period Japan in a manga, Nobunaga's Chef does a pretty good job and is almost entirely faithful to reality

Wasn't Mitsuhide a Saito clan retainer? And not an Ashikaga retainer?

Edit: yeah checking history records, Mitsuhide was originally from the Asakura clan, entered service to the Ashikaga as an adviser and bodyguard to Ashikaga Yoshiaki (the girl's past life) and later became a dual retainer to both Ashikaga and Oda during their march on Kyoto. Seems Mitsuhide stayed with Nobunaga rather than Yoshiaki during their falling out though
