Page 28 makes it seem as if the sniper was aiming for the magician, but Theo bumped her out of the way accidentally and got shot instead.

Question is, who'd want to kill the magician? Maybe the cult who was researching their immortality? Or perhaps that's the 7th sibling (we haven't met the 7th as yet right?) who wants to keep their immortality a secret?
