I’ve actually never tried kangaroo, but one of my Native Indigenous friends has, and they said it tastes like a firm, lean meat.

Some absolute psychos just slap it straight onto toast by itself 😭

But the right way is butter first then add a decent layer of Vegemite on top (recommend it to be a little) so it balances out the flavour instead of tasting like pure salt aggression.

it also goes well with crackers too not just bread

I honestly found it really interesting, but also really sad. The ending genuinely upset me. meant to lean into that uncomfortable, messy side of things because toxic yuri isn’t just about verbal abuse; it’s supposed to feel weird and nasty on a deeper level. A lot of people tend to romanticize it so the author made it all gross.
