To everyone asking why they just don't put flour or paint on his face, this exact thing was explained in the chapter: Putting something on Kitou's face and then drawing what you see would be you drawing the stuff on Kitou's face, not his actual face. You can never get an accurate picture of him because you can't see the real him. Hebizono doing it as a heat picture is the closest you can get to the real Kitou.
