Then she tugged on his sleeve, saying to do some Christmas stuff together and on top of that leans REALLY close to him to warm him up? Wholesome. And finally when Tsumiki waited for Yutaka to pick up his presents and they both gave each other matching gloves?! I can't...

If this was translated in time for Christmas I think I would felt bliss and died. Thank goodness it's the new year so I can keep reading this.

I really hope there is a time skip where they become high schoolers and just dated. But hey, I can dream. Best chapter ever.

I mostly agree with @JumboWheat01 - she obviously can't control the wagging well (what canine can?), so it would be super embarrassing for her if her entire tail was going whap whap whap for its entire length this whole date and smacking random people in the crowd. Especially with her strength!

Fun fact:
For film and show shooting, while dogs are easy to train, their eagerness in following commands and happiness in expectation of praise makes their tails the most difficult part to handle, particularly if the scene is somber or otherwise not conducive to excitement. That’s also why the tails are the most CGI’d parts of trained dogs in such productions.
