At this point, you should have figured it out. Main character makes her bashful. Everybody else don't.

How do Genji not know about cooking? Even cavemen knew how to do it.

Just how undeveloped is their society for them to have trouble understanding basic cooking skills?

Most likely, genjin in general can cook. But Tsumiki specifically is bad at it, because her mother never bothered to teach her or something.
Or maybe werewolf cooking is significantly different from human cooking, and involves less finesse and more violence.

The octopus-girl seems to have bigger problems, though. Being afraid of electricity in a modern world. Does she live underwater?

Probably the combination of whose doing it and that a Genjin sucking on someone's neck is probably pretty normal in comparison to a werewolf putting on a bandaid

I mean, modern cooking is considerably different compared to cavemen cooking. Also I'm sure they know how to cook, it's just that their methods are considerably different compared to humans.

Also Tsumiki might just suck at cooking.

Not the same thing, but this reminds me of a time in Japan when I visited a Latino friend in Tokyo. We greeted with hugs and cheek kisses, a common gesture for us, even if she was a girl. Funny enough, a Japanese dude I was hanging around with asked me how I could do something like that so nonchalantly, lol.

Interestingly enough, I also know someone who had to break up with his Japanese girlfriend because she couldn't withstand the show of affection that he would give to his mother and sister. She simply didn't find it natural. (He's a Latino too)
