They did not speak Arabic in ancient Egypt, they spoke Egyptian, and given that ancient Egypt spans millennia, the Egyptian of 3000 B.C.E is as different from the Egyptian of 1000 B.C.E. as Latin is to French — Forget not that Cleopatra lived closer to the current day than he lived to the construction of the great pyramid of Giza.
Even if one were to be transported to a mediæval European world where they would speak 1500s "Early Modern English", a contemporary speaker of English would have a very hard time understanding what they said.
