TBH I hope we get a real ML and dump this guy. Excuses about not knowing how to handle girls is fine and all, but to pretend to actually love her, while not knowing literally anything about her or trying to. But then when finally deigns to spend time with her he's so controlling and demanding every single time. Like, I hope she's able to protect her private quiet time and doesn't have to be forced to do whatever he wants her to do.

Maybe if he wasn't such a selfish ass, he'd ask her what SHE wants to do, instead of just forcefully dragging her to places and then berating her about doing things by herself and trying to control her. He might be somewhat redeemable if he learned that, but now that he's worried about losing her, his only reaction seems to be to find ways to control her.

That...had me baffled for a good bit, but I think we all came to more or less the same conclusion:
"Oh. Princess Caroline is also stupid stupid."

That was some Katarina-level logical leaps to somehow decide crossdressing and seducing Nicole was the answer. That was no misunderstanding; She was trying to seduce her friend's fiancee.

Once again, Fuck Keios though. Rather than redeeming himself, he's digging the hole deeper.
Dude somehow tried to forcibly separate Nicole from people trying to protect her instead of showing any sign of concern or self-reflection at being accused of domestic violence. And then he goes and causes a scene with the princess out of a weird possessiveness.

That's as clear a communication as possible that there's nothing between Keios and the princess. "I wonder what they were trying to do" implies that she truly doesnt get it, compared to understanding but not believing. Unless that sentence is a translation issue, wtf don't you understand, Nicole...

TlDR fuck Keios, but I'm worried the writing quality is showing cracks

Same. I think a lot of people hopped onto this series, expecting the same old; fl wises up to their trash ex, girlbosses her way out and (usually) marries up the ladder.
But by chapter 2/3 it's quite obvious that the series is taking a more nonsensical and comedic approach to this genre.

I'm rooting for him, but I want him to suffer for as long as comedically possible.
