Look, i have said many a harsh thing about keios before(whether they be undeserved or justified is up to everyones own judgement).
However, i am ultimately a redemtionpilled forgivenessmaxxer, so i am willing to afford him this chance. Its looking like not only is he working on improving himself, he is also recognizing the error of his ways and agonizing over his past mistakes.
He has advandced to the stage where he tries his best to accomodate for her and fawns over her as much as possible without being creepy. Now, some might say that this is simply the baseline and nothing to be commended for. However i must assert that it is ulitmately a massive step up for him personally, and a sign of the continued effort that he is investing in bettering himself, for nicole!
I am totally willing to accept that he can mend the relationship he himself has broken, given the help of others and his sincere will to make up for his own folly.

Ideally, he would support nicole with her dreams, either by helping her financially or by traveling abroad with her.
Of course this all hinges on nicoles own state of mind and whether or not she herself is willing to let that relationship be mended and perhaps some time away from each other would serve better to heal the emotional scars she has suffered.

But whatever way the author decides to play it out, all im saying is that we should not condemn infinitely someone who is working to make amends.

With how the social politics of this world seem to work, its infinitely better for Nicole to be in a loveless marriage where her husband leaves her alone than to not be married at all, and ending the engagement to try and find a better marriage prospect is risky on its own, because what if her husband is even less understanding than Keios

Apparently, it was so popular that it crashed steam the PlayStation store and the Nintendo store when it first came out. I actually ended up needing to wait about 3 to 4 hours Before I could finally download it. Definitely a lot harder than hollow knight, though most of the bosses are pretty manageable in under an hour
