With every chapter i am reminded how absurdly fucking stupid this guy is. Like jesus man, youre not a child. Youre a noble, arent you supposed to do serious adminstrative work in a not so far a future, what the fuck? Who would willingly place the lives of more than one person in his hand? He cant even properly manage his own! I rarely wish ill upon another, even fictional characters but by god does this guy not deserve a happy marriage with his still fiance until he does some serious work, both on himself and to atone.

While she does accept some responsibility for this, I feel like it isn't her job to make sure her best friend takes care of his fiance. Nobody else needed their hands held like this, and it's still squarely on his shoulders. If anything, she's being quite reasonable.

I can see it. At least if she's angry, you know there's still some feelings left in there to be salvaged. But stone cold acceptance? Talking ain't enough to fix it.
